astevenson26 @drretro hi there! Sorry for the delay. The fabric is a light weight satiny polyester (I think). Not cotton, but very light weight and comfy.

drretro @astevenson26 Thanks for your response. If it's really from the 1950s, I wouldn't think it's polyester (though invented, not yet widely used at that time, especiallyfor clothes). Maybe it's a sateen cotton of sorts...? Trying to figure it out from the photos. I quite like it but I can't wear polyester. Could you share a close up of the fabric near the metal zipper?

astevenson26 @drretro of course! I’m not very good at fabrics, so it’s very possible it’s the sateen cotton. I’ll get some pictures closer to the fabric for you.
