Vintage Bloomingdale’s by Cora Jacobs Blue & Brown Woven Purse

This vibrant blue and brown woven purse with faux leather details is a vintage item originally created exclusively for Bloomingdale's by Cora Jacob's. Cora Jacobs was a renowned fashion designer in the 1970s, known for her unique designs using natural materials. She was particularly known for her intricately designed straw and reed bags, such as this one! Before creating a name for herself, she designed for Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Nina Ricci. This crossbody bag features a smoothly functioning zipper top closure. On the interior is a black synthetic lining which also includes a zippered pocket. It is very nice condition, clean inside and out and shows very minimal wear. (Refer to last three photos for signs of wear on the edges of the purse).
