Selling 2 serving bowls 7” & 9” and two low rim bowls
These bowls come from Boch Freres, likely in the late 70s or 1980s. Boch Freres got their start in Belgium in 1844 by the Boch family, the same Boch of Villeroy and Boch. Through the rest of the 19th Century and into the first half of the 20th century, Boch Freres would become not only the largest ceramics producer in Belgium but the market leader. Things would begin to go downhill in 1970 and in 1988 they would go bankrupt. In 1989 after a change in ownership, they would change their name to Royal Boch Manufacture SA. Ownership would change multiple times over the years, but they continue to operate today.
Based on the maker's mark, I believe these bowls were made sometime in the late 70s to their bankruptcy in 1988.
