Vintage Bonnie Cashin Suede Vest 1970s

This Bonnie Cashin for Sills & Co. collared vest is from her 1970-1971 F/W collection. It is an iconic piece from the inventive American designer. A similar piece is featured in a 1970 editorial and currently held in The Met's permanent collection. It was made of a tan unlined suede in a parabola cut, doing up the front with three of Cashin's signature twist locks. The suede does show some wear, mainly on the top of shoulders. Neck area has a crack. There is also some patina to the twist locks. Please zoom in on the photos. The suede remains supple and the jacket is overall in good condition for its age!
