Vintage Bookend Malachite Oval Stud Earrrings 950 Sterling Silver 27.8mm

Vintage Bookend Malachite Oval Stud Earrrings 950 Sterling Silver 27.8mm Perfect in every way. Bookend sliced genuine Malachite. Expertly set in 950 Silver. Bezel set for the cleanest bezel I've ever seen. Shiny smooth finish on stones. Post Stud backs with 925 Sterling butterfly earring backs. (Not the original to pair but fit perfectly). The only flaw is that the posts are a little wavy. Silver is soft & the higher the number, the softer they are. The artist did use a stronger alloy to connect the post to the body. Thankfully. It can turn a little color right at where the post connects because of this. It's just a stronger metal. These are 27.8 mm long (just over an inch) by 21.1 mm oval & 3 mm thick. They weigh 6.62 grams. Excellent condition. No chips or cracks. All jewelry is stored and shipped in individual bags for preservation and protection. I video and photograph all shipments.
