Contents cover types of wildlife communities and animal species. 95 pages. Measures 5 1/4 x 8 inches. Book #2: Explorer Manual. Copyright 1950. "The Explorer Manual is presented to the young men of America to guide them along the Explorer trail." 380 pages covering all aspects of expeditions (packing, camping, first aid, survival, and so forth). Measures 4 1/2 x 7 inches. 1" thick. Both books are vintage and wear is consistent with age. Explorer Manual has a tear on the front cover (see photos).
