O111. FLAPPER SAUTOIR BEADED NECKLACE ? Or - Seed Beaded Belt. Actual age? Can’t guarantee, but based on what we see, many online posted called art deco period c1920s. Amber color or Yellowish Brown colored beads make up this LONG Necklace w/Looped “Tassel” ends. A stand out, quite thick. Estimated 56.5” end to end. Esti 50” NOT incl tassels/balls. Has weight to it. Could it be a belt to loosely tie around your (slim) waist. SASSY worn as a long necklace, Flapper style. See Photo of ladies wearing something similar. Ends are long loops resembling tassels. Not fabric; made up completely of beads. Only part not beaded are the hard rounded “balls“ towards the end. They’re hard & the beads flow over them. Unsure what that material is. Unsure what the beads are strung on. I see no breaks in the tassel loops, or any OBVIOUS major bead losses. Taken from a woman’s top closet shelf, tucked away in a little old worn box. No idea as to origin, age, maker or materials. Plastic or glass? As for age, Surely not modern, especially given the estate sale purchased from. At very least, Vintage. Only mention is I would highly suggest a cleaning. Came from a smoking estate BUT I DON’T SMELL SMOKE. But still, am sure this has been sitting unused for quite a long while, even though it was safely tucked away.
