Vintage Bridal Bouquet By Stetson 22 kt Gold Scalloped Edge Round Platter

Beautiful vintage collectible charger plate/round platter titled "Bridal Bouquet" by Stetson. It is adorned with pink, blue and purple flowers in the center of the plate. Its scalloped edge is decorated with gold design border. Bridal Bouquet By Stetson Warranted 22 KT Gold mark at the back of the plate. Polish immigrant Louis Stetson started the Stetson Pottery Company in 1946. He used whiteware produced by the Mt. Clemens Pottery Company and added decals or hand painted patterns Stetson pottery often has a folk feel to it, both with the color choices and the themes of the designs In 1962 the Stetson Corporation of Lincoln Illinois made semi-porcelain dinnerware and was the largest manufacturer of hand decorated dinnerware under one roof in the world.
