Vintage Brighton Necklace

This one of a kind two tone fun necklace is made with a pendant that I repurposed from a vintage Brighton Chain Belt. I added the Brighton Lady Bug for a touch of whimsy. hung it on a two toned Brighton chain that came from a vintage necklace. the chain measures 24" and closes with a lobster clasp. I choose to use a lot of vintage Brighton components in my creations because of their quality of workmanship. Brighton's buckles, jewelry, chain and other silver accessories, are cast in solid brass or zinc, and then dipped in pure silver. Since silver has a natural tendency to tarnish (oxidize) and scratch, Brighton has added a protective layer of lacquer to help prevent this from happening.
