Vintage British 60s 70s Jacket Mens 38 40 Carnaby St Tweed Suit Irvine Sellars

* Rare Vintage Irvine Sellars Tweed Suit Jacket Vintage paper tag indicated size ending in "0". UK size of 50 translates to US 40. However, please check the photos for measurements as this runs slimmer in the chest (38"-39") than expected. This was originally part of a custom 3 piece suit. Classic British style from the 60s/early 70s and the famed Irvine Sellars Shop on Carnaby Street Wool/Polyester Blend in Herringbone pattern with brown stripes Two Flap Pockets and one Ticket Pocket Fully Lined - hand sewn stitching visible Wide Notch Lapel Double Vented 2 Button Cuff Pre-owned in good vintage condition with a few minor flaws. (See last 3 photos) Loose stitching in center back seam. Center upper back darker brown thread missing in one spot and is covered by cream threads (does not look like a hole). Could use a professional pressing since there are some ripples in the wool from storage. Note: Crumbling paper tag difficult to read. Vintage sizing of a slim fit jacket with broad shoulders.
