clockworkmary @mehasa On every pair of pants there is a point where the two seams meet right at the crotch, they intersect with each other and make an “x”, it is a few inches down from the bottom of the zipper. Start measuring from this point all the way to the top of the waistband. You will pass all the way up the zipper, pass the button until you reach to top the waistband (and you can’t go anymore). Don’t start at the bottom of the zipper, find where the seams cross at the crotch.
