Vintage Brooch Pin Aurora Borealis Rhinestones 50s-60s Gold Tone Metal

Iridescent rhinestones produce a rainbow of colors in this exquisite mid-century meticulously crafted brooch. All the stones are prong-set. Aurora borealis (AB) rhinestones were invented in the mid 1950s by Swarovski and soon became hugely popular in fashion jewelry. This brooch has a locking pin back, also a hook on the back (to wear as pendant? doesn't seem safe...). Excellent vintage condition! This was well cared for by original owner. Not signed.
