Vintage Brooklyn Dodgers Jersey 1980s Blank Los Angeles / LA Sand-Knit McGregor Size 44 = Large Missing button above the o in Brooklyn, not noticeable when buttoned. The bottom button on the bottom could be moved up in its place. Purchased at Manny’s Baseball Land in Hackensack, New Jersey. From the 1940's through the 1970's, two generations of Yankee fans said, "Meet me at Manny's." across the street from the Yankee Stadium bleachers on River Avenue in the Bronx. Manny's was the place you bought your pennants and programs but in 1978, Manny Koenigsberg retired to Las Vegas, Nev., and the business moved to New Jersey, first to Cliffside Park, then to Hackensack. Manny s moved to Hobe Sound Florida in 1990 prior to their final location in Palm City, Florida when it was sold in 1996 and closed. In 1921, Sand-Knit was founded by John Sand in Chicago, Illinois. Throughout the 1930s, Sand-Knit was a leading manufacturer of custom athletic uniforms.
