Vintage Brooks Elephant Brooch w/Faux Carnelian Circa 1960s or Earlier

This is a vintage Brooks Elephant brooch with a prong set faux carnelian cabochon. The ear is high polished gold tone and the body has a textured and matte finish. The size is approximately 1-1/8" x 1". The pin stem measures approximately 1.25" and works well with the rollover catch. Overall color and condition is very good with minimal signs of wear. Signed Brooks. "Founded in 1932, the American costume jewelry company Brooks operated for about three decades, until the 1960s. Considered collectible, these decorations are rare in the vintage costume jewelry market."
