Info on company: In 2006, Brown Bag Cookie Art announced the retirement and discontinuation of its ever-popular cookie molds. For those unfamiliar with these collectibles...they are crafted of kiln-fired stoneware and are durable enough to withstand years & years of enjoyment. After each use, simply scrub & clean in hot soapy water or run mold through the dishwasher. Brown Bag Art Molds are quite versatile and can be used for molding a multitude of crafts in addition to cookie making, including but not limited to: *Paper Casting *Fondant Cake Decorations *Fragrant Cinnamon Pomanders *Special Ice-Cream Sandwiches *Paper Ornaments & Gift Tags *Beeswax Ornaments *Molded Butter *Chocolates *And more! The earliest molds were crafted by hand, by pouring clay slip into a mold. Later, with the increased popularity, crafting by means of a machine press was the only way for the company to keep pace with demand. Nearly all molds dated 2002 and later were-- once again--crafted by hand, one at a time at the original pottery in Hill, New Hampshire. Due to the organic material and/or the hand-crafted nature used to create each mold, no two molds are the same.
