Vintage Buckle Necklace

This is unique vintage Bill Adler buckle that I made into a one of a kind necklace. I have added a beautiful vintage floral piece that I repurposed from a vintage Brighton bracelet. I hung it on a 22" vintage Brighton rolo chain with two light green swarovski crystal beads. The chain closes with a lobster clasp. Brighton's buckles, jewelry, chain and other silver accessories, are cast in solid brass or zinc, and then dipped in pure silver. Since silver has a natural tendency to tarnish (oxidize) and scratch, Brighton has added a protective layer of lacquer to help prevent this from happening.
