Vintage Bullocks Wilshire Wilroy Sport sweater jacket with optional belt

Amazing find from a store that was the height of elegance and high society that no longer exists but is a famous part of LA history! Bullock's Wilshire department store was established in 1929 by John G. Bullock and partner P.G. Winnett as a luxury version of their successful Bullock's store. Located on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, the store was housed in a beautiful art deco building, and offered only the best. The Wilshire Boulevard store was closed in 1993, but the building has been restored and is now on the National Register of Historic Places. This is a lightweight sweater that almost has a jacket / coat quality to it. Pure vintage with shoulder pads to boot. Brown with a white Grid / checkered pattern and rainbow specs throughout. It’s 23” pit to pit and would fit like a modern size Large. Check out my other items for sale!
