Excellent vintage condition, no holes or stains noted. hand rolled edges, silk, probably made in Japan (no tags, fabric is based on history, feel of fabric). modern, floral design, mcm rectangular shape: ~ 15' wide x 42" long probably from the 60's or 70's based on design. Burmel was known for their handkerchiefs and started scarfs when the tissue was invented (fun fact). The company was located at 385 Fifth Ave., New York, NY, until around 1980 or 1981.
