rmccouture
rmccouture It's a design by Limoges. Is it on porcelain?
Jan 24Reply
elenaopossum
elenaopossum @rmccouture I knew u would know lol. I am not sure it's porcelain - it looks almost like a stone to me but it might be. I am going to google. Thanks Amanda!💕❤️

rmccouture
rmccouture I don't think that it's Limoges though, I think it's inspired by Limoges. I would describe it as a vintage 2-toned cameo brooch depicting a courting couple, a la Limoges. It's probably painted partially in gold leaf.

rmccouture It's stone. I can tell; either stone or resin made to imitate stone. Is it cold to the touch?
Jan 24Reply
elenaopossum
elenaopossum @rmccouture I think resin imitating stone - it IS cold to the touch but the back looks like resin to me. I am not sure I want to sell it now lol. It's very pretty 😎

rmccouture
rmccouture It could be glass... Yes, it's probably glass if it's cold to the touch. If it's not very heavy and cold, I would say glass...
Jan 24Reply
rmccouture
rmccouture Hold it up to the light. If it's highly translucent, it's most likely glass.
Jan 24Reply
elenaopossum
elenaopossum @rmccouture actually yeah it might be glass - it has one spot on the edge where it might have been bumped and it looks a little lighter than the rest of the surface like a glass would if it was almost chipped but not quite.

elenaopossum
elenaopossum @rmccouture hmm no not translucent. Maybe it's stone after all :). That spot is actually just a highlight - u can c it in the cover shot on the left close to the top. I have to figure out how much I should list it for if I want to sell it after all. Lol I am terrible wishy washer!

mitzadragonaga Hi, I have collected these for about 45 years. There are about 8 poses. They come from West Germany. I am going to post one of mine tonight. They are extremely reasonable to buy. I have found necklaces , brooches and pins, anywhere from $5-$55. And that is high. I love yours very much.

mitzadragonaga I would never want to offend you with my budget. I was a passenger in a terrible car accident in which I broke my neck and my back in 3 places. My lifestyle changed. I used to derss vintage, etc. I now live in a small City in Arizona that does not have a boutique, or an Antique store. Listing things and getting them ready is harder than I thought, I tire easily. I have not sold anything yet.

mitzadragonaga So, if and when I do, you may still have this. But, I could never spend your asking price. You have lovely things.
