Vintage Cameo Earrings

1970s Cameo earrings with screw-back clasps. Approx 1.5” Gold-tone scrolling embellishments frame the crème and sunset carved resin centerpieces. Fit for anyone in Bridgerton I dare-say. i have had these for 15 years and they always get comments. Fun fact: Screw-back earrings became a thing when suffragettes wanted to receive the social acceptance of wearing earrings (pierced ears were seen as “musts” for women back then) but wanted a quiet little “buzz off!” in their hearts. Cute and savage. Who knew?
