This dress is a true size 9.  If you're 5'8 and under it will be a Maxi dress on you.  PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION to the waist.  It is slim and you must be a slim size 9 in this area.  The bodice over the breast will fit a size 9.  But please check the waist measurements.  The portion from under the breast to the waist is where you need to be slimmer.  Dress has been laundered and ironed and is GORGEOUS!
