Vintage Caro-Nan Basket Purse Quilted Lining Travel Signed Hand Painted Penny

This vintage Caro-Nan basket purse is a unique addition to any collection. The quilted lining adds a touch of charm to the woven basket bag. The purse was made in the United States in the 1970s and is an excellent example of vintage accessories. The purse was loved and used. Bottom felt is well worn and two white hat pins are stuck into quilted lining for safe keeping. There is one break in the weave - please see picture number 7. Some of the paper tags are worn and some painted words are fading. But, that’s vintage!
