Vintage Casa MAYA Mexico Pendant + Pin Brooch MCM hammered Copper Brass Handmade

This is a vintage MAYA Mexico artisan copper/brass tassel pendant/brooch. An interchangeable piece of brutalist mid-century style; 1950s mixed metals. A true beauty of mixed metal, applied brass wire-work, and red beads which could be glass or gemstone. Interchangeable--can be worn as either a pendant or a brooch. Dramatic artisan style most likely made in the 1950s. It measures 2" wide and 3 1/2" long including the tassels, so it is big. It weighs 1 1/2 oz. The back is signed "Mexico." It is unmistakable that it is made by the house of Maya. I am selling a lot of my 1980s and 1990s jewelry (including beads if they sell well). Most were barely worn or are in near-new condition.
