wisteriahouse What is the real color of the coat, it looks green in one pic, black in one, and grey in another shot? To get a sense of the sizing, how tall was your grandmother and how much did she weigh? Thank you!

csrrsc @wisteriahouse sorry - black can be hard to photo & every screen is different. It is true black, no fading. The listing has all the measurements, please let me know if you would like others. (I hesitate to share my grandmothers size as everyone should go by the actual measurements for fitting. As a flavor- petite woman, wore a size 5 shoe, stood @5"3", coat hit about midcalf. This style coat can accomodate weight fluctuation thru the middle.) Gorgeous coat in incredible condition.

wisteriahouse @csrrsc Thank you! That is helpful. I didn’t mean to get too personal with my inquiry. Just trying to figure out sizing. I’ll get my measuring tape out and try to determine if it will fit. I’m slight frame, size xs in coat, 5’5”. It looks so pretty. 2 more questions, is collar detachable, and, has it been dry cleaned? Thank you!

csrrsc @wisteriahouse not too personal, just a hard way to judge fit! It has been cleaned. The collar is not detachable. There is a fully finished round wool collar under it that it is stitched to, so appears it *could* be altered to have the fur collar removed. But I'm not a professional seamstress or tailor so that's just a guess. The fur is in great shape and in beautiful rich brown / caramel tones. Happy to answer any thing else if you have more questions!

csrrsc @wisteriahouse yes, but you have to work with a dry cleaner who specializes in cleaning natural fur. (Not every dry cleaner can do it)
