Vintage Celluloid and Shell Necklace

These were made in the 30's and 40's. True Vintage, bordering on Antique. And absolutely beautiful! Heavy shell, dyed a beautiful blue which looks as if it was a Robin's egg blue but has faded as dyed shell will do. Each graduated shell disk hangs from a celluloid chain and is topped with a colorful celluloid flower. Absolutely delightful! The chain is about 16" long and it closes with a celluloid loop. Truly unique, even among other similar necklaces. Perfect addition to a vintage collection.
