Vintage Ceramano Tea Cup Small Octagon Ceramic Vase West Germany Sunset Orange

Ceramic tea cup or small vase marked “W. Germany Ceramano” on the bottom. Unique octagon shape and sunset orange glaze. “Ceramano was founded in 1959 in Ransbach-Baumbach by Jakob Schwaderlapp, who also founded the Jasba factory in 1926. The intention was to produce a higher quality of studio pieces and utility items in contrast to the more mass-produced Jasba ceramics. Many of the designs were from the hand of Hans Welling, but designers Gerda Heuckeroth and Dudas Lazslo also played a part. Ceramano ceased to exist in 1984.” Measures approximately 2-3/4 inches height and 2-1/2 inches wide. Condition is used. There is a small chip on the outer edge of the top rim with loss of glaze. There are some bumps on bottom base which I believe are manufacturer’s defects. Please zoom all photos for more details.
