Vintage Chalkware Fisherman of the Sea

This is an awesome piece of chalkware from the late 60s. The slate blue rain jacket is embellished with silver buttons and his snowy white beard is peeking through. There is some damage right on the end of his pipe. I thought it was ashes at first, but when I realized this was chalkware, I inspected closer and there is some paint scraped away. This doesn’t bother me, I thought it was ashes. However, please look at the pictures closely to make sure this is the fisherman of the sea for you! There are a thousand fishing trips etched on that face. He measures 7.5” x 2” Thanks for checking him out. He’s a handsome devil and doesn’t mind folks staring!
