I do not have the belt and I rescued these without the original Chic brand button. I have used a Vintage button from my supply and have Sewn it on very well. Large pockets. Cool fold down or up Waist for Paper Bag effect. No stains, rips or tears. I have done a laundry soak with Lysol laundry, hung to dry. These are crisp and ready to wear.
