Vintage Children's Book Magic Windows Victorian Revolving Picture Book

Charming vintage children's book. A reproduction of a book by Ernest Nister (1841–1906) who was a German publisher and printer of movable books for children and paper ephemera such as greeting cards, post cards and calendars. He was born in Darmstadt, Germany and later had an office in London.[1] He refined the techniques used in the design of "magic windows", "dissolving picture" and pop-up books, publishing them from his firm in Nuremberg, a toy-making center of the 19th century. This book is from England copyright 1981. It has 5 moving/ changing pictures. You pull on a ribbon and the picture transforms into a different one. Inscription in the front. You could use a sticker to cover it such as ”This Book Belongs To ……”
