Vintage Choker Rare Variscite Gemstone Choker in a Silver Tone Setting

A stunning Choker Necklace, artisan crafted with skilled and detailed workmanship featuring rope, swirls movement, tassels and beautiful polished Variscite stones - a large centre oval with teardrops on either side in an intricate and ornate pattern. The stones are attached in a way that allows for movement. The inside circumference of the choker measures 18". The rigid piece measures 7". The lovely centre feature stone measures 1-5/8" x 1-1/8". The front and back look very similar - scrutiny is necessary to see the difference which shows up in the attachments. The Stone with the more pronounced veining is the front; you could actually wear the choker either way. The metal is relatively lightweight. The "tassels" show tiny nuances (see photos) of both a handmade and vintage piece. Nice vintage condition with patina consistent of a pre-loved piece of its nature and time, estimated to be from the 70's. This piece is truly unique; a real show stopper.
