Vintage Cigar Case Travel Box Rosewood Burlwood Silver Ship Nautical MCM Humidor

Gorgeous vintage burled rose wood cigar case with warm color and glossy finish. Adorned with a sculptural clipper ship in sterling silver. Unmarked, but I’ve seen a couple similar items at auction that were made in Italy and Russia. Slender shape with rounded sides and a sliding cylindrical lid. Open, cedar-lined interior for two cigars. The ideal portable cigar case—lightweight and slides right into a shirt or jacket pocket. Its function aside, it’s a strikingly beautiful and elegant design object! The perfect gift for a cigar smoker. SIZE: Measures 7 1/8” L x 1 3/4” W x 7/8” D. The cylindrical lid is 2” long by 5/8” diameter. The interior measures 1 5/8” by 1/2”. CONDITION: Very good condition - beautiful color, finish and fully functional. A couple tiny spots of wear (one interior chip) shown in the 6th photo.
