Vintage- Ciner- Enameled & Pave of Diamanté, Maltese Cross Brooch Ciner opened shop in 1931, starting with fine jewelry and then fine “costume” jewelry, which always has the look of the real thing. This special little 3-Dimensional Maltese Cross is no exception. Circa 1980s- it features: - A focal domed pave of diamanté, 15mm in diameter - Layer 2: 4 silver tone fanned out chevron shaped “petals” each with a sparkling pave of diamanté center and black gloss enamel flanking each side - Layer 3: 4 larger matching Chevron shaped “petals” with the same enameling and sparkles as the layer above - The back of the brooch has an all over embossed pattern that look like snake skin - Amongst the snake skin pattern is signed ciner©️ - The pin has a C-Clasp without the full safety cap - The pin does not extend beyond the clasp It comes wrapped up in a jewelry box with acid free paper. It is also featured in the best of costume jewelry as one of Ciner’s finer designs.
