Vintage Clubman Double Polyester Patriotic Men's Suit Jacket Blazer Union Made

Vintage Clubman Gentry of Garner Double Polyester Patriotic Suit Jacket Blazer Sport Coat Red White Blue USA Polyester Double Knit fabrics were the rage in the late 1960s and through the 1970s. This oil based, synthetic fabric was loved for it's ability to remain wrinkle free and easy to clean and the definitive choice for the 70s man. Very vintage 1960's -1970's men's suit jacket in a patriotic red, white and blue pattern by the Gentry of Garner in Garner, North Carolina. The Gentry of Garner label is there but no size label which is typically indicative that this garment was exclusively made for the original owner. This suit is in excellent condition and ready to wear. Wide notch lapels, two faux side flap pockets and one real breast pocket on the outside; the usual three pockets inside, and and pop of blue dotted lining is solidly intact. Wooden like buttons. Lightly padded shoulders. This vintage piece is beautifully made as you can see the tailored stitching throughout. Very minor discolorations on the back of the forearm as shown. Overall, very good vintage condition.
