made in NYC, color is believed to be tabac which is a lighter brown than mahogany. Has the classic tapered strap, buckles of brass and adjustable. The interior is pretty clean along with the pocket interiors. There’s one slip pocket behind the flap and one zip pocket inside. The common stress points on these bags on the flap fold and the buckle fold are good. There’s no tearing or piping exposed. A few frayed strands on strap pictured. One darkened spot on the front flap about the size of an eraser. The bottom stain of unknown origin has not come clean with my efforts. It’s not raised or indented nor is it stiff in that area. It’s just darker and I am not sure it can be cured. Luckily it is the bottom though. No smoke and no pet home, no unexpe odors. Thanks for looking:)
