This is a vintage Coach saddle bag with brass buckles. The no. is 741-6483. Made in NYC. It's 11" at the bottom and 9" at the top and 9" in height. The strap is adjustable. This is a wonderful bag. It is not in perfect condition. It does have a few flaws. The edging in one corner of the front is a bit worn. A friend who is a leather worker filled it with a special glue to bind it together It's a bit rough, but it will be fine, it won't continue to wear out. There is one place on the strap that has a split that goes through, but it is strong and doesn't compromise the use. The inside of strap has a few places that look split, but don't go through. There is one place where it looks like a split but that is where the leather overlaps. The area by the clasp is worn, yet, has lots of life left. This is a good solid bag for a vintage. piece. It would be possible to replace the leather binding for the strap it you choose to do that. Easy enough for a leather worker to do.
