Vintage Cocktail Dress

This dress belonged to my great grandmother and is in amazing condition. It comes with the original belt. She was a tiny woman so it is a junior size 9 for the time. From what I know of my great grandmother she probably would have gotten this in the 60s and took fantastic care of everything she owned (to a fault. I’m talking kept the chairs and table in plastic type vibe) so I feel confident in stating that this dress is in like new condition. More info I have found on the dress “This adorable knit by Sue Brett Juniors has one of the coolest methods of closure I have seen on a dress. Since the dress is lined, the outside closes with six fabric covered buttons and a black metal zipper extending down the skirt. The inside lining opes in the back as well, and closes with a hook an eye clasp! Because the dress is fully lined, there is no stretch. The waist does not have elastic, which is why (I think) the closure is so extensive. The top folds over and cannot be tucked into the belt, which is held in place with belt loops. Tag states “A Sue Brett Junior Dress”. Dress is in perfect vintage condition. Measurements: Across Shoulder: 15" (flat) Bust: 36" (15” flat) Waist: 27" (13” flat) Hips: 38" (15-16” flat) Top Length: 17" Bottom Length: 22.5" Overall Length: 39.5" Belt: 31.5" with holes at 26", 27", 28", 29", 30" Note that the pictures of the dress on the stand are not mine.
