This charming black and cream vintage necklace features carved double roses of carved celluloid with alternating black faceted disc beads all held together with shiny black irregular tiny beads. There is a film of age on the black beads that needs to be cleaned to be shiny again. The approximate length of this necklace is 14" which places it high on the neck when worn, and the closure is a barrel clasp. My sister-in-law was an avid collector of so many things, jewelry was just one category. She knew everything about each and every one of her pieces but unfortunately she is no longer able to tell us. I'm not an expert - I just offered to help find new homes for her beloved pieces. This is a vintage piece and has evidence of wear that is appropriate for its age.
