Vintage Collectible Oriental Bamboo Fan From Korea 1970s

On one side Chinese characters Yoh Jook Kyo Hwei tell us the life and growth of the Methodist Church in South Korea may be compared to the growth of bamboo. The depicted art was by a Methodist missionary who lived in Busan (formerly written Pusan), South Korea. She said the bamboo fans were made and assembled in several little homes high up on the Pusan mountains. This fan was a gift to a member of our family who was a missionary who served in that country prior to 1970.
