Vintage Colony Glass Kings Crown Ruby Flash Thumbprint Champagne/Sherbet Glasses

These Ruby Crown champagne glasses/sherbet cups were made between 1953-1967 by the Lancaster Colony Corporation. They hold 6 ounces of beverage and are 3 1/4" tall by 3 3/4" across top of glass. These glasses feature the well-known Kings Crown pattern trimmed with ruby red flash. A flash glass is a type of glass created by coating a colorless glass with one or more thin layers of colored glass. There are some areas where the coloring has worn off, but they are still beautiful. I have other glasses that I will be listing-tumblers and wine and some plates.
