Vintage Corde-Bead Black Beaded Evening Bag by Lumured 1950s Made in USA

Romantic vintage 1950s black Lumured beaded purse / handbag AKA “Corde-Bead" in a particularly hard to find and fabulous size. Interior stamp reads Lumured Corde-Bead Made in USA with indecipherable patent number; elegant black fabric lining, one interior slip pocket for a mirror or credit card. It has pretty etched gold frame and a beaded handle and a semi-flexible black plastic trim along the frame top. Approximate Measurements 11” wide at base x 8” tall. Purse opens widely to approx 6” flat and the strap drop is approx 5.5.” Very good vintage condition, hardly used, the black lining is very clean and free from damage as is the whole purse — no rips, tears or stains. No missing beads. The gold frame has very slight oxidization and scuffing and the clasp has mild oxidization but the clasp and the side hinges operate very well.
