This Coro brooch is a high-quality piece made from heavy cast (not stamped) metal with brass plating. The pin is in the form of an old-fashioned coach with a seated figure blowing a trumpet and at the opposite end, a winged cherub. The piece is set with 1 large and 2 small faux pearls, as well as 5 deep orange rhinestones and a square emerald-colored stone. All the pearls and stones are prong-set. The pin has a plaque bearing the Coro mark that was used from 1945 (a Pegasus next to the word "Coro" on a slant, inside a rectangle). The piece is 2-1/8" x 1-1/2" and is in very good condition with no rust or corrosion, no breaks in the metal, no rubbing on the surface of the pearls, and no missing or replaced rhinestones.
