Great for spring, fall, cool summer nights. I liked wearing it under a leather jacket. Easy to layer things over or under it. Color is cream. There is robbing at cuffs and bottom of sweater. Closes with a cream satin ribbon. Pretty! 42% acrylic / 32% nylon / 26% mohair Instructions say hand wash cold but I think you will be fine to do a machine delicate short cycle in cold water.
