Vintage Crewel Embroidered Jacobean Style Cushion

This vintage linen Jacobean-style crewel cover is beautifully embroidered in wool. It was made from a crewel embroidery kit by Paragon Needlecraft in either the 60s or 70s. The pattern was originally stamped on the linen and then embroidered over. There is no specific name for the pattern; it is just called Jacobean. I have 2 pillows of the same size on offer but in different patterns. This is the second one. Both could make a nice set for a sofa or bed. I haven't washed the pillow as I'm unsure how the colors would be affected. But it is in excellent condition for its age with no stains. Look at the close-ups to see. PLEASE NOTE: The color of this linen cushion cover is a natural beige, rather than white as it appears in the pictures. To get the vibrancy of the colors, the camera lightened the linen.
