Vintage Cross Stitch Completed Sampler Wedding 1955. Cross stitch sampler made to commemorate the wedding of Melba Jean Pryor to Glen Leroy Harvey on December 28,1955. Cross stitches are tiny and were counted as opposed to stitching on a stamped piece of fabric. A LOT of work and attention to detail is found in this lovely piece. The sampler is stapled to a board. Excellent vintage condition with no breaks in the threads. Fabric has yellowed due to age but the thread colors are vibrant. The original white color of the fabric can be seen on the edging where it is stapled to the board. See first 9 pics. Measures: 16 1/4"H X 12 1/4" W
