Vintage Curacao Dolls (Couple)

Vintage (circa early 1980's) Curacao dolls (couple) made of material. 14" tall mounted on a blue material covered wooden base. Faces are hand sewn. Curacao woman has gold tone metal earrings and is dressed in a cotton blue floral dress, white cotton underwear (slip and bloomers) trimmed with lace, white eyelet apron and hat (kerchief). Her hair is gray yarn. She is carrying a basket with "Curacao" written on the material in the basket . She wears sandals that have matching material to her dress. Curacao gentleman is dressed in an off white cotton jacket and trousers with brown felt hat accented with the same material as the woman's dress. He is carrying a bindle (bag on a stick) made of matching material to the woman's dress. He is wearing tan sandals. His gray hair is made of yarn. The couple is attached to the base. Base measurements are approx. 8 1/4" x 4 3/4". Some fading of the outfits. Please see photos for outfit condition, wear and tear. They have been in a display case for decades and been cared for lovingly. They are a precious pair and perfect for the international doll collector.
