Vintage Currier and Ives, cast-iron tile trivet, wall hanging 1959

This is a VINTAGE, EXCELLENT Condition “Cast Iron Currier and Ives Blue & White Ceramic Art The Homestead In Winter Farmers Home Decorative Hot Plate Pad Trivet” made by ABB of Taiwan during the late-1950s. Belonging to housewarming gift in 1959 and has been displayed in her mother’s kitchen for the past 60+ years. In EXCELLENT Condition,has NO chips, cracks or other damage; it comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home. The Blue & White Ceramic Tile measures approximately 4 1/4th inches square, with the Cast Iron frame measuring approximately 9 1/2 inches tall and approximately 5 inches wide. It stands on 4 small feet and the back of the ceramic tile is Marked ABB inside a Diamond Cartouche inside a Square Cartouche with the Letter “F” to the left and the Number “1” to the right and the Cast Iron Frame is Marked “Taiwan”. The STUNNING Currier and Ives winter scene makes this a fun decorative Trivet for use or display; it is perfect for the snowy season and all year round. With VIVID Blue colors, this decorative trivet has a CLASSIC Cottage Chic Rustic Farmhouse motif.
