The color of this glass is the perfect sapphire blue!! Faceted Czechoslovakian glass, most likely made in the 1930's. Brass is made in U.S. & the filigree is stamped from die cut stamp forms, designed decades ago & still in use today. Ear wires are also raw brass. Lovely, rich patina, they dangle two inches.

I use 100% vintage components, so I post them as vintage because they are the exact components as they would have used , (& glass is from 30's) if made in 39s/40's, just new solder😊. It's always so amazing to me when someone likes something which I've made, so I'm very grateful!

judyabolafya @taunyaarmstrong I'm glad you feel encouraged. You have talent + beautiful materials to work with, which is all you need; you just need your body to cooperate. 😉 I know, easier said than done. I used to make embellishments using vintage materials, which is how I got started in online selling. Then I was diagnosed with severe fibromyalgia. I hope that whatever is giving you trouble will back off as much as possible so that you can get back to creating beautiful things. 💐

taunyaarmstrong @judyabolafya Thank you so so much. Your encouragement means so much. I am so very sorry you suffer from that horrific disease. I see my cousin suffer terribly. She was forced to quit working because of it. At times, cannot even have the weight of a sheet on her.

taunyaarmstrong @judyabolafya I have several health issues, but the one which has slowly "taken" my life, over the last eight years, is a very very severe form of Ménière's disease. But mine is not text book, inner ear. It's not even my inner ear, it's partially middle but combined with the inability for my brain to process what I'm seeing, along with other some other complications. No depth perception, balance, all is in slow motion die to not processing information.

taunyaarmstrong @judyabolafya Have not driven in nine months either because I'm in an attack, or one may come in while driving, which has Halle Ed & it's been angels who have driven for me because I am unable to see, in a single moment. So, I'm here 24/7 with my four precious fur kids, one day a month to the Dr & that's it. I see my best friend once or twice a month when she goes to the store for me.

taunyaarmstrong @judyabolafya I've made some lovely friends on here, & know when I do not post new pieces, or share, I'm in an attack. They are so kind & send "text checks" or call. So grateful for them. I have so much to be grateful for, I sometimes get quite discouraged & forget to think about all that I do have! I never every feel sorry for myself, it just sounds right sucks! Haha! But, I never say that this will last forever, I keep thinking that someday there will be a "fix" for this stupid stuff!!!🌷🌷🌷
