This beautiful pendant is most likely from the 1970s, and is from Spain. In the traditional black and gold Damascene technique, it depicts Don Quixote, the literary figure. On the reverse, the logo for "Midas Damascene" of Toledo Spain. It measures about 1-1/4" in diameter, and with the bail it measures about 1-7/8" tall. Excellent condition, possibly never worn. This is a great piece! From a high end estate.
