Delightful wrought brass hinged RING BOX or TRINKET BOX with lovely little birds and flowers in a botanical theme, covered in multicolored faceted accents gems, likely Swaroski or similar. A beautiful part of a romantic proposal to hold an engagement ring, or just a pretty way to stash your favorite jewelry or brighten your bookshelf. Made from brass, cut glass stones, and enamel. Size is about 2 x 2 x 1.75 inches. Definitely Art Nouveau vibes, but this seller can't ascertain the date of manufacture - early midcentury is my guess. This is similar to boxes produced by Rucinni but cannot be confirmed. The extremely tiny plate in the interior is shown in closeup in the second to last photo; the seller cannot confirm the brand/maker.
