Vintage Derby Bowler Foxhunting & Show Ring

Vintage Derby Bowler worn for the Show Ring. The fabric is Felt with a Grosgrain Bow, Red Satin Lining and an inner protective plastic covering. Size not listed on inside of hat; measurements are: 22" Inside circumference / 5-1/2" height top to bottom measured from inside / 1-1/2" brim width / 7-1/2 x 6-1/4" crosswise. Although somewhat reinforced, the bowler is relatively lightweight. Lining inscription reads "Honisoit Qui Maly Pense" "Dieu et Mon Droit". Originally purchased in Belgium in the 80's. Nice wearable vintage condition with patina consistent of a pre-owned piece of its nature and time. Please see photos for usage wear and separation of the inner faux leather band.
